Epilepsiatutkimussäätiön vuoden 2026 apurahat ovat pian haettavissa / The Epilepsy Research Foundation’s grants for 2026 will soon be available for application

Hae nyt tieteelliseen tutkimukseen Epilepsiatutkimussäätiön vuoden 2026 apurahaa. Apurahoja jaetaan pääsääntöisesti eri alojen väitöskirjatutkimuksiin. Tutkimuksen tulee liittyä epilepsiaan. Sama henkilö voi saada apurahan kaksi kertaa. Hakuaika on 1.2.-29.2.2026.

Hakulomake löytyy tältä sivulta. Tutustu myös hakuohjeisiin. Liitä mukaan tutkimussuunnitelmasi ja suosituksesi (väitöskirjatutkijalta vaaditaan ohjaajan suositus) sekä eettisen toimikunnan lausunto.

Asiakirjojen lähetysmuoto ja nimeäminen

Lähetä hakemuslomake ja liitteet sähköisesti pdf-muodossa. Sähköistä lomaketta ei tarvitse allekirjoittaa. Sähköiset asiakirjat on nimettävä seuraavasti: Hakemus_sukunimi.pdf ja liitteet Liite1_suositus.pdf.

Hakemusten toimittaminen

Lähetä Epilepsiatutkimussäätiön hallitukselle osoitettu hakemuksesi liitteineen 29.2.2026 mennessä osoitteeseen sari.kuitunen@utu.fi. Merkitse sähköpostin aihekenttään hakijan etunimi ja sukunimi. Varmista, että sähköposti kuitataan saapuneeksi 24 tunnin kuluessa sen lähettämisestä.

Apurahojen julkistaminen

Apurahapäätös julkaistaan Epilepsiatutkimussäätiön verkkosivulla maalis-huhtikuun vaihteessa. Hakijoille välitetään tieto myös sähköpostilla.

Epilepsiatutkimussäätiö edellyttää selvitystä apurahan käytöstä ja tieteellisistä tuloksista. Tutustu ohjeisiin.

Apply for a 2026 grant from the Epilepsy Research Foundation for scientific research. Grants are mainly awarded for doctoral dissertations in various fields. The research must be related to epilepsy. The same person can receive a grant twice. The application period is February 1–29, 2026.

Application form and attachments

The application form can be found on this page. Please also read the application instructions. Attach your research plan and recommendations (a doctoral researcher must include a recommendation from their supervisor) as well as a statement from the ethics committee.

How to send and name documents

Send the application form and attachments electronically in PDF format. The electronic form does not need to be signed. Electronic documents should be named as follows: Application_last name.pdf and attachments Attachment1_recommendation.pdf.

Submitting applications

Send your application and attachments addressed to the Board of the Epilepsy Research Foundation by February 29, 2026, to sari.kuitunen@utu.fi. Write the applicant’s first and last name in the subject line of the email. Please ensure that you receive confirmation of receipt within 24 hours of sending your email.

Announcement of grants

The grant decision will be published on the Epilepsy Research Foundation’s website at the end of March/beginning of April. Applicants will also be notified by email.

The Epilepsy Research Foundation requires a report on the use of the grant and the scientific results. Please read the instructions.
