Conscription
In the conscription invitation letter, a young person will receive a health information form to fill out as well as a recommendation to have a health check done. In the health information form, you will be asked about possible illnesses that influence eligibilty to complete conscription. Eligibility means, that a person who is a conscript can serve without endangering their own or others’ safety.
An epilepsy diagnosis often means a two year’s release from conscription. The final level of eligibility will be determined during monitoring. If you are seizure-free with medication, you can serve in service class B.
